Issaquah trolley barn

The Issaquah Museums hopes to fully restore a Portuguese trolley and operate it in downtown Issaquah. It was acquired in 2002 from Aspen, CO after that city's trolley plans were canceled. A second car was acquired in 2003 from San Francisco; it originated from Milan, Italy.

In 2001/2002, a demonstration project was undertaken using a trolley borrowed from Yakima Valley Trolleys. It was well received by the community and the group hopes to build on that as a cultural and economic asset.
